Maxine Lynn, Co-Founder of Sex Tech Connect

Maxine Lynn is known in industry circles as "The Sex Tech Lawyer." She focuses her work on obtaining patents for Sex Tech, trademarks for adult industry business brands, and copyrights for creative materials like pornography images and movies. She also publishes the Unzipped: Sex, Tech & the Law blog and Sex Tech Patent IndeXXXMaxine has spoken at conferences in Las Vegas, Miami, Los Angeles, Montreal, Amsterdam, and Berlin on related topics.  She has been featured in The American Lawyer and Corporate Counsel Magazine, as well as various industry trade publications.

Maxine is also the Founder of an erotic jewelry and sex toy brand. Her necklaces and creations have been nominated for the adult industry's highest honors, including XBiz Awards and AVN Awards.

Shakun Sethi, Co-Founder of Sex Tech Connect

 

Shakun is the Founder and CEO of Tickle.Life, having over a decade of experience and specialization in Community Management, International Communications, Brand Management and Digital Media. Inclusivity is paramount for her and that is evident in her work. She is the founder of organizations like “Jammu and Kashmir Future Talks”, Indian Students in The Netherlands and also supports in raising funds for various social causes and supports various NGOs. This is also her second start-up after running a crisis communication company successfully for over 8 years called Dizuna Communications. Tickle.Life was also conceived with the understanding that people from various sexualities are living in silos which is hampering one's own discovery. Shakun aims to bring the community together and start the dialogue on a larger scale which can help in normalizing the discussion about sexual well being.

Laura Johnsen, Director of Digital Marketing for Sex Tech Connect

 

Laura Johnsen is a PhD Candidate in the Anthropology Department at Binghamton University.  Laura’s current research studies the constructions of sex and sexuality through the design and marketing of sextech products.  She is thrilled to contribute her skills to Sex Tech Connect and learn from our accomplished speakers and community members.
